Our learning centers are conveniently located throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Each location offers its own unique characteristic that the diversity-rich Bay Area is known for. The Academy began in San Jose and shortly moved to San Francisco, where countless students from all over the globe have walked through our main campus doors to experience the distinctive urban lifestyle the city has to offer. Also referred to as “The Town,” we then expanded to Oakland across the water in the East Bay. Our recent new addition in San Mateo is located in the Peninsula between the two metropolitan cities of San Francisco and San Jose, marking our presence in Silicon Valley. Students find our facilities to be pleasant and well-equipped to enhance the learning experience. San Francisco
A key feature of the Academy is its pleasant facilities. Our San Francisco main campus is comfortable, modern, and welcoming. In addition to our inviting classrooms, students have access to a computer lab, Wi-Fi, recreation room, and café shop. Most importantly, our teaching faculty are well-known for their, friendliness, experience and passion for teaching ESL. The Academy experience is warm, unique and rewarding for countless students from all over the world.

Oakland
Our Oakland location is AAE's auxiliary classrooms in the East Bay (12 miles east of San Francisco). Our outstanding faculty extends their reach across the bay in our media-enhanced classrooms. A few minutes' walk from Lake Merritt and BART, the Academy is within easy reach of downtown or Chinatown, which are also only a few blocks away. San Mateo
Situated at the center of the San Francisco Bay Area, our San Mateo auxiliary classrooms are conveniently located between San Francisco and the Silicon Valley region. San Mateo is known for its Mediterranean climate and vista views. Our classrooms are near downtown San Mateo, offering a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores and parks. Convenient transportation is available with Caltrain just a four-minute walk from our location.

Transportation
Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) connects the San Francisco Peninsula with Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, San Jose, Walnut Creek, Dublin/Pleasanton and other cities in the East Bay. The nearest BART station to our San Francisco Main Campus is the Civic Center station. The nearest station to get to our Oakland Classrooms is the Lake Merritt station.
San Francisco's network of fuel-efficient Muni buses, light rail Metro trains, historic streetcars and iconic cable cars covers all corners of the city. Affordable, safe, convenient and environmentally friendly.
Caltrain is the easiest way to get to San Francisco from the South Peninsula. On weekdays, Caltrain provides direct and express train service all up and down the peninsula.
