College Pathway
The American Academy of English offers a college pathway program designed for students who seek admission to our college and university partners without taking the TOEFL exam. Instead of taking the TOEFL, students can meet English proficiency requirements for admission to our partner schools by completing our Intensive English as Second Language (ESL) for Academic Purposes (ESL 700) Course. In addition to satisfy college admission requirements, the ESL 700 course is also developed to provide our students the necessary tools to succeed in an academic setting. Some of the essential skills taught are college essay writing and note taking.
